Travel
Requirements: - One or both parents travel to China for approximately
two weeks.
Length of Process: - Married couples with less
than five children - 8 to 10 months

If you would like a child over three years old 4 - 8 months from the time your
dossier arrives in China.
- You usually travel 2 to 3 months after the acceptance
of your referral.
Age and Civil Status Requirements: - You
must be at least 30 years old to adopt a healthy child from China.
- When
husband and wife are adopting, both parents must be at least 30 years old.
- Families
cannot have more then five children presently in the home.
- You cannot
be more than 55 years old.
- Exceptions may be made for adoptive parents
who are older than 55 if you would like to adopt a school aged child.
- Applicants
should be no more than 45 years older than the child they wish to adopt.
