take to complete? What paperwork will I need to complete? Are there any educational
requirements or groups I will need to participate in? What is the average waiting
time after the Home Study before placement?
- What services does the agency
provide? (Counseling couples, counseling birthparent(s), legal work, medical care,
education classes for adoptive parents, foster care for the baby, Home Studies,
Post Placement supervision). If yes, is an extra fee charged?
- What do
the adoptive parent fees cover? Will there be other fees involved? If yes, what
are they? (long distance phone calls, mileage, federal express, document authentication,
etc.) Is there a fee schedule available? Are there fees for birthparents?

the agency place a child in foster care before final relinquishment by the birthparents?
- Will
the agency consider placing the child with the adoptive parents before termination
of rights by the birthparents?
- What is the agency's approach towards openness
in adoption? What if the parties wish to meet or to have continuing contact of
